Love at Frost Sight

This romantic updo can be done both on long and medium hair lengths. Split your hair down the middle and french braid each side, securing both braids into ponytails at your nape. Backcomb the ponytails to give them some texture, and tie them into a low, messy bun. Gently tug at your braids to give them a thicker appearance, and finish it off by curling any face framing pieces.

Snow Bunnies

Simple as 1, 2, 3 and ideal for those working with fine and/or short hair. Use a comb to lightly tease your crown for volume, and section your hair into three low ponytails, teasing each afterwards. Begin to loosely twirl a ponytail towards your head, securing with bobby pins, being careful to not flatten the formed bun. Repeat with the remaining two ponytails. Don’t worry about perfection; a little messiness is what gives this updo it’s effortless look.

Sleigh A Ponytail

Long-haired ladies will love this elevated twist on the classic pony! Section off a rectangle panel starting near your temple along one side of your head, making the width of the section as wide as you want your braid. Start dutch braiding this section. (Think a french braid, but instead of bringing each piece over the next, you bring it under.) When you reach the end of your rectangle section, begin braiding straight down the length of your hair, securing with an elastic. Gently spread apart your braid to give added thickness. Sweep all your hair, braid included, into a high pony. Take a small piece of hair and wrap it around the base of your ponytail; the covered hair tie creates a more polished finish. Slip a bobby pin under your pony to secure.

Top-notch Twists

Add a little oomph to your go-to style with this half up half-down look. First, lightly tease your crown for volume. On one side of your part, take a section near your temple that’s about 3 inches thick, then split the section in two. Begin to twist each half, then twist them around each other. Pin to the back of the head while you repeat on the other side. Once this is done, remove the pins and tie both sides together with an elastic as pictured. (If your hair is too short for this last part, skip the elastic and leave your twists pinned side by side at the back instead.)
